**Key Responsibilities**
 
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based desktop applications.
- Contribute to at least one project involving Java Swing application development.
- Develop scalable, efficient, and maintainable software modules.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
- Develop and execute unit test cases for all developed modules.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Understand software architecture and application design.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.
- Take ownership of assigned modules from development through deployment and maintenance.
 
**Required Technical Skills**
 
- Strong programming knowledge in Java 8 or above
- Hands-on experience with Java Swing
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Good knowledge of Networking Concepts
- Experience with Socket Programming
- Strong understanding of Multithreading
- Exposure to Image Processing
- Knowledge of DICOM Standards is highly preferred
- Good understanding of software design principles and design patterns
- Experience in writing Unit Test Cases and performing unit testing
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git is an added advantage
